The Perrault family began farming in the Yakima Valley in 1902 on a Moxee area homestead established by Alberic Perrault, who planted his first hops in 1928. Alberic raised a large family and several of his sons formed their own farming operations. In 1968, Perrault Farms was established by Alberic’s youngest son, Bernard and his wife June, and continues today under the direction of third generation hop grower, Steve, and his wife, Judy. The management team is completed by Alberic's great grandson, Tim, and Steve's sons, Jason, Sam, and Jeff. All together, they proudly represent over 100 years, and four generations, of hop farming. Perrault Farms grows a diverse array of crops, but specializes in hops, growing ten varieties on several hundred acres of land, and also have a herd of buffalo.
