Fabiola Ramirez
Molecular Manager
Fabiola is the Molecular Manager at Yakima Chief Ranches. She works in the Research department, developing and supervising protocols and strategies for studying the hop genome as well as virus testing. She also supervises chemical analyses, including NIR and UV-vis.
Fabiola grew up in Mexico, where she obtained her Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and a Master's degree in Molecular Biology. After graduating, she attended Washington State University, where she gained her PhD in Horticulture. Fabiola has two young daughters. Outside of work, she enjoys spending her free time with her family, cooking and traveling. She also holds a black belt in Kwon Do and enjoys practicing when possible. Fabiola is excited about learning and contributing to the growth of research and knowledge on hops and their application in the beer industry.
