I’ve worked at YCR for almost over 4 years ( After November 28th this year). I started out as a micropropagation technician, then worked my way up to team lead, and eventually Micropropagation Supervisor. I am in charge of commercial micropropagation. This consists of the in-vitro propagation of hop plants in a sterile laboratory setting. Clean, virus free plants come to me from the research side of the lab. I then keep the plants healthy, cycling them off of different media types until it is time for them to be sent out to the greenhouse to mature. I am attending Heritage University to study biology and increase my knowledge of life on a cellular level. I am a huge fan of horror films, and I love grilling, fishing, and playing guitar.
